Dr. Catherine Le Feuvre MD FRCP(C)

Director of Cardiac Device Clinic, Director of Tilt Table Testing

Dr. Le Feuvre founded the Heart Rhythm Service at Trillium when she arrived in 2002.

Before then, any Electrophysiology procedure required by a Mississauga resident required referral to a hospital outside the city, typically to downtown Toronto. Even inpatients would wait for weeks to have these procedures, given the low priority they were given by those hospitals.

Dr. Le Feuvre began the local implantation of Permanent Pacemakers and Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators. She established and, for years, singlehandedly ran the Cardiac Device Clinic and the inpatient Arrhythmia Consult Service, in addition to her own private office. She founded and ran the Tilt Table Testing facility. Furthermore, she was the driving force behind the construction of the first Electrophysiology Laboratory in the city, which permitted Electrophysiology Studies and Catheter Ablation to be offered locally as well. Through Dr. Le Feuvre’s leadership, the citizens of Mississauga are able to receive complete Electrophysiology services close to home.

After a 25-year career, Dr. Le Feuvre retired from practice in 2025. She now divides her time between scenic Northern Ontario and the beautiful British Columbia interior.
