Patient Care Co-ordinator

Arlene Carter became first Patient Care Co-ordinator for the Heart Rhythm Service when she started at Trillium in 2010. Bringing a background of nursing, critical care and cardiovascular research, her arrival marked a significant evolution in the process of patient Triage. As she organized and developed the outward-facing element of our Service, Arlene became the focal point for the team, literally involved with every patient’s journey and every referring physician’s inquiry. The continued success of our Triage Desk rests on the foundation set by Arlene Carter.

Arlene retired in 2025 and now divides her time between her garden and traveling the world.
