Laura Lisitsky, RN

Upon graduating with honours from Sheridan College’s School of Nursing, Laura Lisitsky began her career in Diabetic Medicine at Trillium Health Partners. Committed to excellence in nursing care, she transitioned to the Intensive Care Unit within her first year of practice and, while working full-time, successfully completed her Critical Care Certification.

Driven by a dedication to continuous learning and professional growth, Laura has also completed numerous courses at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University). In 2000, she was selected as one of the inaugural team members of Trillium’s Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit, where she completed four months of specialized training at the renowned Sunnybrook Hospital.

Throughout her career at Trillium, Laura has gained extensive experience across all Critical Care areas, consistently demonstrating exceptional clinical expertise and a strong commitment to patient-centred care. Since 2016, she has been part of the Cardiac Health program, contributing her skills to both the Heart Function Clinic and the Cardiac Short Stay Unit. In 2024, she joined the Arrhythmia Triage Team full-time, supporting Cardiac Rhythm Services.

Outside of work, Laura is the proud mother of four children. She enjoys spending time with her family, listening to a variety of music, singing, and taking long nature walks with her dogs, Daisy and Poppy.
