
Genelyn Sangalang, RN
Genelyn Sangalang graduated top 8 in her class with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from De La Salle University in the Philippines. She began her career as a Registered Nurse at Asian Hospital and Medical Center, where she gained several years of clinical experience before immigrating to Canada.
After moving to Canada, she worked as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) while completing additional nursing credits at George Brown College School of Nursing, where she obtained certifications in Cardiology and Critical Care.
She later worked as a Registered Nurse at St. Michael’s Hospital for seven years, specializing in Cardiology, Cardiovascular Surgery Intensive care Unit, and the Catheterization Laboratory. She then joined Trillium Health Partners, where she spent nine years working in Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit and the Catheterization Laboratory, focusing on Interventional Cardiology and Electrophysiology. She currently serves as the Patient Care Coordinator for Electrophysiology.
In her spare time, Genelyn enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, baking, and traveling.
