Patient Care Co-ordinator

Philippa Hetherington joined the Heart Rhythm Service in 2014 as our second Patient Care Co-ordinator. With a wealth of experience in Pediatrics, Neonatal Intensive Care, Cardiology and Cath Lab Recovery Philippa was perfectly positioned to understand the numerous elements which inform the decisions required to manage complex arrhythmia patients. Her clinical skill was only surpassed by her wonderful countenance: a perfect blend of energetic equanimity with a wry sense of humor allowed Philippa to counsel the most anxious patients and the most impatient General Cardiologists with equal aplomb.

Philippa passed away, far too young, in 2025. She is dearly missed.
